This is Not a Test

Not an intentional one, anyway!

I remembered that I needed to get gas when I was halfway home from yoga and 5 miles from the gas station.   This morning I remembered again when I was halfway between the Sierra Highway and Sand Canyon exits.  About 10 miles without any services.  Luckily it was all downhill.

Learned that the Sonata can go at least 436.2 miles on a tank of gas.

    That was very lucky!

It sure was! It wasn’t coughing yet, but wow. I don’t like to cut it that close!

It works just fine for the freeway speeds, so, I still don’t know why the speedometer goes up to 160 mph. The car will only do that speed if it is dropped from 40,000 feet from a plane doing 160 mph.

I dunno. Maybe we should go to a track and find out.

That’s a good thing to know!

I’m thinking about the radius from my house. There are a lot of desert roads I could get stuck in at the 440 mile mark…that’s heading east. Heading west, I’d be sailing into the sunset. 😀
