How We Travel

Way too connected?   For our two hour drive to Sun City, CA for Easter Saturday dinner we brought along two cell phones, a GPS unit and an iPod.

And we used them all.

Had a call from Kitty, looking for a recipe.  GPS got us through the tangle of the 60 and the 215 and found us a Starbucks along the way.   And we listened to several episodes of The Moth podcast while on the road.

Get one iPhone, it will do all that AND be your alarm clock and much more!

I’m tempted to say, “Yes, definitely too much!” But then, you used them all, you say? I guess not too much in that case. I was glad enough to get through to you that day! 🙂

Debbie – Yeah, you’d think that would be the answer, but the iPhone doesn’t work with our service. There’s a navigation service available on our new Android phones, but we already had the GPS and it’s easier to use. And I don’t think the iPhone has 120G like my iPod. So much music and podcasts, too! 😀

Kitty – I’m pretty fascinated with these toys still!

So helpful to have all of them–as long as it’s not the driver who is handling them during the trip! 🙂
