Street Art – Evergreen and Riverside

Nice, fresh art for the beginning of April.  Evergreen, near the intersection with Riverside in Burbank, on the Toluca Lake border.

Also this!

Which is made of words.

Whoa! Don’t know just what I think about it—but interesting!

I like the first one. It seems to me that it wasn’t us to just think about what we might be missing when we’re facing onto our devices.

The words are unsettling on the second piece. I guess art isn’t always intended to make us feel good. I’m just not sure what it’s saying…Question authority, question the status quo?

There are a lot of wonderful words in the second one also. Love, God, art, happiness, thought … for example. I think it was just all about life and has the good with the bad and it’s all contained within Mankind.

I like this kind of art. It is done a lot up here in Portlandia. Art everywhere you look…from benches to light poles. And it’s all in good taste.

I used to see more art like this when I drove through Hollywood. This area on the Burbank/Toluca Lake border is not antiseptic upscale, but it’s a very tidy, well tended neighborhood. I think it needs more of this!
